Energist Medical Group (”Energist”) – Swansea UK, Copenhagen Denmark and San Marcos US- are pleased to announce a number of senior appointments.
Bryan Morton was appointed Chairman in December 2012 bringing with him over 30 years’ experience within the Pharmaceutical and Medical products market with groups such as Merck and Company and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Most notably Bryan was the founder of two successful ventures, Zeneus and EUSA Pharma which were sold for significant sums to leading multinationals.
As part of his remit Bryan has established a plan for building Energist into a world leading provider of light based and other energy devices to the medical and beauty markets, which has been strongly supported by Energist’s shareholders.
As a result the following other appointments have been made:
Mark Clement is taking over the CEO role having been associated with Energist for the last 10 years as a Non-Executive Director and more recently as Chief Operating Officer. Mark brings a wealth of experience of building successful companies in the Medical sector most notably Celsis International plc and Vectura plc.
Ad van Beysterveldt joins as VP International. Ad brings with him a wealth of experience with leading companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, BASF Pharma and Cephalon.
